What planet has captured the public's imagination more than Mars? Potential life (aliens of greenish colors?), rovers and wrecks, even past wetlands are all subjects of conversation concerning Mars. These images show some features of our nearby neighbor. Mars is a little more than 1/2 the size of the Earth (and twice that of the our Moon).
