Meade 16in LX200 telescope operating at f/6.3 and f/10
SBIG ST8E CCD camera with color filter wheel

L R G B color production was used to create this image.

Luminance = 20 minutes binned 1x1
 Red = 2 minutes binned 2x2
 Green = 2 minutes binned 2x2
 Blue = 4 minutes binned 2x2
  • This (top image) is a very deep exposure of this globular cluster.
  • The exposure times are for the bottom, f10 image.
  • Digital Development (DDP) via Maxim/DL was also used in order to display the the very dim and very bright details of the image simultaneously.
