Not Oft Imaged, M56
M56,in the constellation of Lyra, is often completely overlooked (and understandibly so) by
the more showy resident of the area-
M57. This very short exposure (LRGB 20:5:5:5) attempts to display the most stars and vivid colors as
possible with the data in hand. The data was processed as part of a
workshop recently held in
Cincinnati. This cluster is around 30,000 light years away and orbits our galaxy rapidly.
